Soft Tones with a Structured Edge

From the start, this bathroom felt warm and welcoming. The client wanted something light and natural, but with enough detail to keep things interesting, and we loved working with that brief. The combination of soft colours and clean structure gave us room to create a space that feels calm and easy, yet still full of character. It’s always satisfying when a room feels effortless by the end, even though every decision was carefully made.
We began by focusing on the left side of the room, where a soft white and green vanity set the tone.
The matching WC added to the sense of calm, while the light brown wall tiles kept the palette warm without being too neutral. A white LED mirror was placed above the basin for added brightness, alongside a clever built-in wall niche, carved into the tilework, that acts as a subtle shelf without taking up visual space. The soft wood-effect floor below added natural texture and brought a quiet sense of warmth to the entire room.
Depth, Warmth, and a Sense of Stillness
The black-tiled bath surround gives the front of the room a strong architectural presence, framed by subtle white grout lines for a minimal yet graphic effect. On the right, the same matt brown tiles continue into the wetroom area, tying the design together while keeping function in focus. With a separate shower zone and soft, indirect lighting throughout, the layout feels generous and well-composed, easy to live with, and built to last.
